How John proposed...

John and I had tickets to my absolute favorite band Bon Jovi on January 23, 2006 at the ACC.... to anyone who knows me well, knows that the word 'obsessed' is an understatement.... I had begun the countdown to the concert many months before, and was so excited when the day finally arrived!

John and I met at John's work to leave our cars and take the subway to the concert (Allison's idea due to her planning on indulging a few celebratory Bon Jovi drinks!).

Finally we arrived at the concert. Our seats were great and the ACC was packed! Bon Jovi started to play all of his high-energy songs and needless to say, Allison was 'rocking out'. Finally, Bon Jovi slowed it down and began playing "I'll be there for you'. John grabbed my hand and led me into the isle and started to dance with me. (I didn’t think  anything was odd since last Bon Jovi concert we danced in the isle for more room)... suddenly, I felt John pull back a little and when I looked, he had moved back and was down on one knee, ring in hand.

John told me how much he loved me and asked me to marry him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was such a romantic (and fun) proposal, all the girls around were "ooohhh-ing" that a guy could be so sweet. Needless to say, my answer was YES!

We spent the rest of the night meeting up with our friends who were there and celebrating.... it was the most memorable night ever!
